Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page exists because the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) requires every business website to provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to California residents.
Our short answer: we don't sell or share your information
Resume Prune does not sell your personal information. We do not exchange your data for money, and we do not exchange it for non-monetary "valuable consideration" with anyone.
Resume Prune does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not work with ad networks. We do not allow third parties to use your data to target ads to you on other sites. We do not have a Facebook Pixel, a Google Ads tag, or any other advertising tracker on this site.
We do use a small number of service providers (Anthropic, Cloudflare, Resend, Stripe, and optionally Kit for the newsletter) to operate the product. Under California law, transfers to service providers that act only on our instructions and only for the purposes we direct are not "sale" or "sharing." Each of those providers signs a data processing agreement with us that restricts them accordingly.
If we ever change this
If we ever start selling or sharing personal information as those terms are defined under California law, we will:
- update the privacy policy to disclose it,
- email account holders at least 14 days in advance, and
- provide a functional opt-out mechanism on this page before any sale or share begins.
To make a formal request
If you want a written confirmation that we have not sold or shared your data, or you want to exercise any of your other CCPA rights (know, delete, correct), email privacy@jenbuiltit.com from the address tied to your account. We will respond within 45 days as California law requires.
